“Children had been abused and then ignored, dismissed and then disdained. If anyone deserves an apology it’s them” | Tom Watson | Video

Tom Watson makes a commons statement and refuses to bow to the braying of the tory press and apologise for asking for a review of the case against Leon Brittan.

Here is the correspondence between Tom Watson & the DPP.

Well done Tom Watson – the cries of ‘shame’ from the Tory benches beggar belief. They truly are vermin as far as I am concerned.

So great to have a principled and strong deputy leader of the Labour Party too. Can anyone imagine any of the new labour / red tory weasels having the conviction to say what he said? Fat chance.
