The Guardian’s coverage of Ukraine is now Pathe News style hysteria.

This from one of The Guardian’s panel stories about Ukraine:

“As an anticipated Ukrainian counteroffensive looms, Russia’s frontlines appear to be in serious disarray, as local mismanagement, military infighting, and callous disregard seem to point to serious problems as the war threatens to come home for Russia.”

Not a scrap of evidence offered in support of any of these assertions. To be proffered seriously in the spirit of journalistic integrity it merely has to fit within the agreed narrative – that’s it.

The Guardian doesn’t wait for facts anymore – the line between spin and reality not so much blurred as removed altogether. It gets better!

“If Russia bears responsibility for the destruction of the Kakhovka dam, as many suspect, it is an act of supreme desperation that the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, has equated to an “environmental bomb of mass destruction”.

Note how the second paragraph builds on the first in support of its own shrill conclusion that ‘it IS an act of SUPREME DESPERATION’ – not that some say it is, or that it might be – no it just IS because….well I say it is and I work for The Guardian.

These people are shooting dope without a needle, drunk on their own doublethink.

Since 2013 I have worked on this Ad-Free site: trying to give a voice to those without the power or agency to speak out for themselves and speaking simple truths that well paid journalists in the corporate media dare not utter.

I am a home schooling parent on a low income – paying for the domain, web hosting and security entirely out of my own pocket.

If you find this website useful and could spare us a few shillings to help keep our lights on, it would be very much appreciated.

Thank you in solidarity with all our readers. John Lynch, Editor.
