The Zaporizhzhia front line in Southern Ukraine is a grisly theatre of horrors to rival anything from WW1. Meanwhile The Guardian et al are merrily weaponising Fathers Day to push their pro war propaganda. The children of Zelensky, the corporate media and the warmongering elites are in no danger – or so they imagine.
.
I despise wars that cost children their fathers and countless thousands of young men the chance to ever be fathers. We need humility and peace – not more arrogant rhetoric from people siting warm and perfectly safe in London, Washington, Kyiv and Moscow.
.
This war will end when enough people withdraw their consent for it.
.
If you can’t find space in your heart to wish for peace talks between NATO and Russia – if you are too invested in blind hatred of either empire to spare more children the savage grief and empty loss of burying their fathers, then try embracing the selfish imperatives for peace.
.
If we don’t stop this madness in Ukraine soon it will end in a nuclear war, one that won’t spare your front door and there will be no more Father’s Days for any of us.
.
.Since 2013 I have worked on this Ad-Free site: trying to give a voice to those without the power or agency to speak out for themselves and speaking simple truths that well paid journalists in the corporate media dare not utter.
I am a home schooling parent on a low income – paying for the domain, web hosting and security entirely out of my own pocket.
If you find this website useful and could spare us a few shillings to help keep our lights on, it would be very much appreciated.
Thank you in solidarity with all our readers. John Lynch, Editor.
