History will record this man’s role in enabling genocide

.

Keir Starmer will go down in history as one of the most immoral and reviled men ever seen in British public life.

As Netanyahu plunges Israel into the abyss of an old testament fuelled genocide in Gaza, Starmer waits for Israel, the Conservative Party, the British media and the U.S. to tell him what to say.

Thus far his instructions have been to condemn Hamas for the terrorism of October 7th, to explicitly declare that Israel has the right to slowly starve and dehydrate a civilian population of over 2 million people, to excuse Israel’s genocide behind the canard of ‘self defence’ and to hide everything that Israel is doing in Gaza behind Hamas.

Keir Starmer is not a politician of principle like say Jeremy Corbyn; he has no manifesto or moral compass to guide or restrain his words. Starmer has but one agenda – himself. A social cipher of naked ambition and self interest, he has made the Labour Party entirely subordinate to short-term political expediency, focus group marketeers and political spivs.

Multiple Labour front benchers have explained that as they hope to be in government jobs soon, they can’t be seen to SAY anything moral TODAY lest that imply they might DO something moral tomorrow. I remain quite sure that Starmer’s Labour will say and do absolutely nothing that is moral now or in government.

As a rule Starmer says nothing of substance lest it upset the powerful and reveal his emptiness to voters, so he grabs every obfuscation proffered by the western establishment about Gaza like a drowning man.

Israeli civilians have powerful friends, Palestinian children do not; but as public outrage has escalated, Starmer has become trapped between multiple levels of cowardice.

He dare not oppose the Israeli lobby or the corporate media but he recognises dimly that some sections of the public might not be as unconcerned about slaughtered children as he is. That was why he scuttled off to a photo op at a mosque, hoping some adroit PR would let him off the hook – but the Muslims therein were furious about being used by Starmer’s PR team and went public to say so.

On balance Starmer is confident that the smart move is to abandon the Palestinian people to their fate, keep the usual suspects on side and trust that the media can artfully airbrush the genocide in Gaza out of public consciousness and shield those complicit in it.

He takes his lessons in this from Tony Blair – a war criminal who has been rehabilitated by The Guardian et al and is now a member of the big club that Starmer aches to join.

Starmer’s only interest in Gaza is to take the opportunity to profess fealty to the powerful and to limit the blood from splashing on his career.

One has to reflect as to how The Labour Party, with its once proud tradition of socialism, internationalism and anti-racism, came to sell its soul to a serial liar and careerist opportunist like Starmer. Boris Johnson without the laughs, he has already dragged Labour into a moral abyss and the longer he stays the more damage he will do.

With no reference points outside of himself, Starmer will crash and burn in the end; when he does he will go down in history as one of the most reviled men in British history – a quisling to fascism, an enabler of genocide and the man who destroyed The Labour Party as a moral force.

His demise can’t come soon enough and he should be tried alongside Blair at the International Criminal Court as an enabler of crimes against humanity.

Since 2013 I have worked on this Ad-Free site: trying to give a voice to those without the power or agency to speak out for themselves and speaking simple truths that well paid journalists in the corporate media dare not utter.

I am a home schooling parent on a low income – paying for the domain, web hosting and security entirely out of my own pocket.

If you find this website useful and could spare us a few shillings to help keep our lights on, it would be very much appreciated.

Thank you in solidarity with all our readers. John Lynch, Editor.
